My grandaughter isn't quite sitting up yet and is quite big at 5 months, she adores splashing her feet in bath . This bath seat is very substantial ,but not to heavy. She has used it with recliner and front . She loves it , enables her to lay back and splash without worrying she'll slip sideways .when sitting she is very well supported in it . Very impressed ,both of us ! Excellent service from Johnston prams, fast delivery and very good communication . Would recommend .
We used this item to transfer our 6 months old to the big bath. It is an aid, not security equipment but does free your hands for that shampoo or little play with toys. It fills with water in the bathtub and the suction pads work well to hold the chair in place. My daughter loves bathing with it (so far in lounging mode) so I would definitely recommend. When not in use we fix it to the bath tiles and it stays in place. Easy to clean too.
We bought this chair when our 5 month old boy outgrew his much loved Tummy Tub. Our little boy couldn't yet sit, but was too big for most bath supports at 19lbs and 77cm. This was perfect, after a couple of apprehensive glances round the big bath our little boy quickly learned how to splash whilst laying down. He is totally secure and loves it. The seat works well too, but for now at 6 1/2 months, our little boy prefers to lay in the bath. The seat takes a while to drain, but totally worth it. Feels really smooth and looks comfy. Are Jane interchangeable eg can a crosswalk seat go on a trider base?
Johnston Prams Replies:
No, Each pushchair seat unit is designed for their particular chassis. This is so they can fold with the chassis and are also stable, as some chassis and pushchair on the Jane range are higher off the ground than others.
The Jane car seats can go on different jane chassis or pushchair, but not the pushchair seat units.
hope this helps.

Hi, please can you tell me the dimensions of this bath seat, both when upright and reclined. Thanks.
Johnston Prams Replies:
Hi Sarah,
Sorry for the delay, we just needed to get the exact measurements for you from a stock model. Please see below:
We have used the interior dimensions as this is what you are probably looking for.
UPRIGHT:
The width between the armrests is 25am and 28 cm at its narrowest and widest points respectively.
The length from the seat back to the top of the bar is 23 cm, and from seat back to bottom of the bar is 25cm. The armrest height is 24cm.
RECLINED:
The width is the same as above 25-28cm. The height of the seat back is reduced to 10cm when fully reclined.
I hope that helps Sarah,

Hi, please can you tell me the external dimensions of this bath seat as I have a narrow bath and want to make sure it will fit. I've read reviews for your other bath seat, (the fluid ring) that says it is quite wide and therefore doesn't always suction to the bottom of narrow baths properly.
Many thanks.
Johnston Prams Replies:
Hi Sarah,
No problem, the widest point of the Aqua is 34cm (at the outer edges of the handle) and the maximum length (with the seat full reclined) is 54cm from end to end.
I hope that helps!

how does it not float? are the suction cups the only thing holding it down?
Johnston Prams Replies:
Hi Beck, The suction cups keep it very firmly attached to the bath and also the base has drainage holes so water can freely move in and out of the seat base.

Hi if I were to order an assorted colour seat what colours do you sell? Just didn't know if I would end up with pink one for my little boy. Thanks
Johnston Prams Replies:
Hi Danielle, the assorted colours are all currently neutral, so would do boy or girl. I believe our stocks are the teal aqua or jade green colours at present.
